• You must reside in Barcelona and surroundings; your workplace will be in Sant Cugat del Vallès.
• Education: Degree or Engineering in STEM disciplines. Postgraduate training in Project Management, Artificial Intelligence, or Digital Transformation will be valued. Desirable: Certifications in management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or similar) will be positively considered.
• More than 5 years of experience in managing technological transformation and Artificial Intelligence projects in the Banking or Fintech sector.
• Experience in leadership and comprehensive management of Data and Artificial Intelligence projects, including planning, monitoring, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Ability to identify business needs, define functional requirements, and transform opportunities into solutions based on advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence.
• Knowledge of Data technologies (DB, SQL,...), Machine Learning (Random Forest, SVM, XGBoost,...), and Generative AI (LLM, RAG Systems, multi-agent, etc.), as well as their practical application in business processes and services.
• Communication, influence, and coordination skills for multidisciplinary teams, facilitating alignment between business, technology, architecture, security, and providers.
• Cross-functional leadership capacity, expectation management, and executive communication to drive strategic initiatives and ensure value generation for the organization.
• Languages: English (B2 Level).

At Banco Sabadell, we are looking for an AI Leader (your workplace will be in Sant Cugat del Vallès), whose central mission will be: To lead the definition, planning, and execution of strategic Artificial Intelligence initiatives, acting as a link between business areas and technical teams to ensure the delivery of solutions that provide tangible value to the organization.

The main mission consists of identifying improvement opportunities through the use of Artificial Intelligence capabilities, translating business needs into functional requirements, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the correct implementation of solutions, managing risks, dependencies, budgets, and the expectations of different stakeholders.

This profile requires a balanced combination of strategic vision, management capacity, knowledge of Data and AI, results orientation, and communication skills to facilitate the adoption of solutions and maximize their impact on the organization.

Your main responsibilities will be the following:

• You will identify and lead Artificial Intelligence initiatives (Document management, RAG Systems, speech analytics, Virtual Assistants, Generative AI,...), transforming business needs into solutions that generate value for the organization.
• You will define the functional scope and comprehensively manage AI projects, ensuring compliance with objectives, deadlines, costs, and quality.
• You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and providers, aligning the different areas involved and managing risks, dependencies, and expectations.
• You will drive the adoption of Artificial Intelligence capabilities, evaluating their functional, technical, and economic feasibility.
• You will prepare and communicate the progress of initiatives to the various governing bodies, facilitating decision-making and promoting the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.
