The role

We are currently looking to incorporate an Bid Engineer in Madrid, who shares our commitment to quality, responsibility, and excellent service.

What you'll do

Estimation and analysis of direct and indirect costs for national and international plant construction projects: identification of inputs, preparation of budgets, evaluation of risks and opportunities.
Collaborative work with external consultants and other internal departments, especially Engineering, capable of leading and completing the management and drafting of all tender deliverables such as technical reports, work programs, or organizational charts.
Planning and monitoring the preparation of technical deliverables for a bid.
Analysis of client requirements, translating them into a milestone schedule, definition of deadlines, team and assignment of responsibilities, and monitoring the progress of each task.
Review of legislation and regulations of the sector, including plant construction and design standards, public and private tenders, and quality regulations.

Job functions and responsibilities

We are looking for a profile with the following requirements and competencies:

Degree in Civil, Industrial, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or other disciplines related to construction and design. Master's degree related to project estimation and management (Cost Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management).
5 years of experience within the sector in areas such as: estimation and analysis of costs for national and international construction projects, planning and management of design and construction projects, coordination with partners for the preparation of economic estimates and technical deliverables, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams (internal and consultants).
English C1.
Previous international experience.
2-3 month travel abroad for the development of tender projects.
Presto, Ms Project/Primavera, Ms Office. Knowledge of AI is a plus.
Good communication skills, teamwork, orientation towards goals and results, and commitment to meeting established deadlines and budgets.
