The role

We are looking for a Mass Catering Cook to join one of our residences in Cambrils. The selected person will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting meals for large groups, ensuring quality and food safety at all times.  

What you'll do

  • Develop preparations, ensure compliance with defined menus and technical data sheets, and implement good practices.
  • Prepare adapted menus and diets. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure proper organization and workflow.
  • Oversee the inventory of ingredients and materials, placing orders when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations – HACCP record.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in the work area, and control the use of machinery, materials, and tools.
  • Train new team members in kitchen practices and company procedures. 

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Training preferably in Hospitality: Higher Technician in Restoration, Technician in Cooking or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience in the hospitality, catering, restaurant, or related sectors.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in similar roles is valued.
  • Resourceful person with strong communication skills.
  • Teamwork.
  • Schedule availability.

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

  • Working hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Schedule: from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., on the long week (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday), and the short week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday).
  • Contract: temporary replacement with the possibility of a permanent position.
  • Catering salary: 1,615 euros gross per month across 14 payments per year.
