MEP Site Manager

• Education: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a similar degree

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in management, supervision, or technical assistance of MEP installations.

• Experience in building projects.

• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical installations.

• Ability to interpret plans and technical documentation.

• Ability to coordinate with different site agents.

• Ability for organization, monitoring, and incident resolution.

• Experience in MEP installations site management.

• Experience in unique, tertiary, or industrial building projects.

• Knowledge of HVAC, electricity, fire protection, plumbing, and/or sanitation installations.

• Experience in coordination of contractors and installers.

• Knowledge of BIM methodology applied to installations.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or other design and coordination tools.

• English level.

At SOCOTEC Spain, we are looking for an MEP Site Management Technician to join our Barcelona team and participate in building and installations projects.

The selected person will participate in the monitoring and control of the execution of the project's MEP installations, coordinating with the different agents involved and ensuring that the works are carried out in accordance with the technical specifications, deadlines, and established quality standards.

This is a position oriented towards profiles with experience in building installations and site monitoring, with the ability to operate in multidisciplinary environments and maintain technical communication with the various project agents.

• Monitoring and supervision of the execution of MEP installations on site.

• Control of the correct execution of the works in accordance with the project and technical specifications.

• Coordination with contractors, installers, site management, and technical teams.

• Review of plans, technical documentation, and possible modifications during execution.

• Monitoring of work progress and detection of possible deviations.

• Quality control of the executed installations.

• Supervision of testing, checks, and commissioning of the installations.

• Monitoring of incidents and coordination of their resolution.

• Preparation and review of reports and documentation associated with site management.

• Participation in project monitoring and coordination meetings.
