Requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC and industrial refrigeration technician, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and intervention on HVAC, refrigeration, and heating/cooling production equipment and installations in high-demand industrial or tertiary environments.

Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training in Maintenance of Thermal and Fluid Installations, Refrigeration and HVAC, or equivalent technical degree.

RITE professional card or equivalent authorization necessary for the functions.

Certification for handling fluorinated gases without charge limit.

B driving license and own vehicle. Knowledge of OHS and safe working in thermal and refrigeration installations.

Basic use of IT tools and CMMS for work orders and records.

Availability for rotating shifts, weekends as required, and on-call duties.

Ability to interpret electrical, refrigeration, and hydraulic diagrams. Fluent Spanish; Catalan is a plus.

Nice to have

Experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, or hospital industries or critical installations is highly valued, involving chillers, air conditioners, cold rooms, heat pumps, VRV/VRF systems, regulation and control, drives, pumps, valves, and resolution of associated electrical faults.

The role

What you'll do

Preventive, corrective, and conductive maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating and cooling production installations. Diagnosis and repair of faults.

Control, regulation, and monitoring of equipment and installations.

Inspection of air conditioners, chillers, heat pumps, refrigeration circuits, ventilation, extraction, pumps, valves, and auxiliary elements.

Taking parameters, detecting deviations, and proposing corrective actions.

Completion of work orders, reports, records, and technical documentation.

Coordination with the maintenance team and specialized companies.

Compliance with OHS, internal procedures, good practices, and center regulations.

Pharmaceutical industrial environment with high requirements for service continuity, documentary traceability, order, cleanliness, and compliance with procedures. Intervention on critical HVAC and refrigeration installations; prior coordination of work, permits, and lockouts. Mandatory use of PPE and strict respect for safety, quality, and plant access regulations.
