📌 Position: Operations Manager - Food Industry

The project

Our client is a consolidated company in the food sector, in the midst of a process to optimize and strengthen its operations. They are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to lead the full range of industrial activities and coordinate the different areas of the production site.

The role involves a global vision of the value chain, from production to quality, logistics, maintenance, R&D, and processes, with the aim of ensuring operational excellence and the sustainable development of the plant.

The site has a team of between 20 and 30 people.

What you will do

Lead plant operations (production, maintenance, planning, logistics, quality, processes, and supply chain)
Ensure the achievement of productivity, cost, safety, deadline, and quality objectives
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, fostering cohesion, motivation, and a culture of continuous improvement
Optimize workflows and communication across the different operational areas
Oversee certification and audit processes (IFS, food safety, etc.)
Define, control, and execute operating and investment budgets
Collaborate with the group's technical and international areas on industrial optimization and development projects

What we are looking for

Higher education degree in engineering, food science, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial food environments, with at least 5 years leading operations or plant management
Solid knowledge of production best practices, food safety, quality, and logistics
Proven ability to lead teams and drive change in established environments
Structured, analytical profile with a results-oriented approach
Excellent communication skills and close, engaging leadership style, capable of generating commitment
Good command of English or French will be valued
