Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Engineering, Higher Engineering, Technical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
Expert command of Microsoft Excel. The selected person must be able to manage and analyze large volumes of complex data rigorously and efficiently, develop analysis models and tools, automate tasks whenever possible, and prepare them for presentation
English level B2, with the ability to operate in a professional environment.

Nice to have

Experience in the railway sector and/or having performed the described functions, mainly regarding rolling stock (technical knowledge, experience in maintenance workshops, etc.), will be positively valued

The role

What you'll do

At Talgo, we are looking for a person with a technical profile to perform the functions of General Maintenance Services Technician (Economic Bidding).

The main function of the position will be the preparation of:

Maintenance bid budgets for Talgo's rolling stock and/or third parties.
Business plans and other economic studies
LCCs (life cycle costs), based on supplier LCCs and real train operation data
Support must be provided to the maintenance centers (both in Spain and subsidiaries), to other areas of the Maintenance Directorate (technical bids, engineering, projects, warranty...), and to the General Maintenance Services Area itself.
