At TECNALIA Electrical Lab Services, we offer conformity assessment services for electrical equipment for distribution and transmission networks, as well as industrial applications.

We are looking to add a dynamic person to our team, with extensive technical knowledge, management skills, and client-facing abilities, to join the High Voltage Laboratory. You will join a team of 35 people and be part of one of Europe's leading electrical equipment laboratories.

What we're looking for

Requirements

Knowledge and experience in high voltage testing techniques, in low, medium, and high voltage products for electrical networks and industrial installations, and in the standards associated with these products.

Your role will be to ensure quality and technical rigor in the execution of tests, and to ensure compliance with the requirements for an accredited laboratory under ISO 17025.

You will attend to clients internationally, so fluent English is essential, both written and spoken.

Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Master's in Industrial Engineering (electrical specialty), or similar.

Minimum experience: 5 years. Applications with less experience will not be excluded if they meet other requirements associated with the position.

Languages: Fluent reading, comprehension, and conversation skills in English. Minimum level B2.

Nice to have

Knowledge and experience in high voltage testing techniques: dielectric strength, impulse, partial discharges, etc.

Knowledge of medium and high voltage electrical equipment: distribution and instrument transformers, switchgear, insulated cables and accessories, etc.

Knowledge of product standards for equipment used in electrical networks and industrial installations.

Experience in handling laboratory instrumentation.

Knowledge of French.
