The role

TECNALIA possesses the necessary experience and infrastructure to carry out the formulation development of a wide range of products. We have the only platform at a national level that covers the complete drug development process, from its formulation, analytical validation, and pilot batch manufacturing to clinical trials.

In the TECNALIA Pharmaceutical Development Laboratory, located in the Araba Technology Park in Miñano (Vitoria-Gasteiz), we hold accreditation from the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Currently, we wish to hire for a temporary position a Pharmaceutical Development Laboratory Analyst.

What you'll do

Their main activity will be related to performing:

  • Control assays of active ingredients in different pharmaceutical forms: physical and pharmacotechnical assays (average weight, hardness, moisture, disintegration, friability, density, osmolarity...).
  • Dissolution assays by UV-Visible and quantification of drugs and their impurities by HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography).
  • Quantification of drugs and related substances, and determination of the dissolution percentage using HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) and Ultraviolet-Visible spectrophotometry techniques.
