What we're looking for
Technical and IT Knowledge
Knowledge of Moodle.
PHP 8.X, modern JavaScript (promises, asynchronous handling, arrow functions, destructuring, ES6 modules, DOM manipulation, frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js), HTML5, CSS3, SASS, PHP MVC frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony), MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, SPA applications.
Familiarity with LAMP/MAMP, use of Docker, high-availability and concurrency solutions, caching systems (Redis, Elasticsearch).
Object-oriented programming and SOLID principles, design patterns and advanced architecture, TDD (PHPUnit), BDD (Behat), performance testing tools (JMeter), web standards and accessibility (W3C).

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer specialized in Moodle to join our team. The ideal person should have solid experience in PHP development solutions, deep knowledge of Moodle, and advanced skills in web security and web standards. What you'll do
Duties
For this position, we are looking for a professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in PHP development solutions and deep knowledge of Moodle, especially its latest versions, including Moodle 4.x. They must be able to develop advanced plugins and themes, optimize platform performance, and ensure integration with external services. Additionally, they must be familiar with best programming practices, web security, and web standards.
We are looking for a proactive person with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, with a mindset of continuous improvement and learning. They must have an analytical and problem-solving approach, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
Technical Knowledge: Plugin development, core customization, PHP problem-solving, MySQL/PostgreSQL database management, UI customization with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, use of AJAX and Moodle APIs.
Plugin and Theme Development: Creation of custom plugins and themes, use of Mustache.
Administration: Installation and configuration, user administration, roles and permissions, implementation of security measures, backups and recovery.
Optimization and Performance: Optimization techniques, monitoring, and scalability.
Integration: Integration with LMS, ERPs, CRMs, use of web services.
Methodologies and Best Practices: Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), use of Git, unit and integration testing practices, clear and useful documentation.
Extensive functional knowledge of the solution.
