BMS AND NIAGARA SYSTEMS SPECIALIST FOR CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURES
Telefónica España
Do you want to join a leading company in the technology industry?
Sabemos que estás en búsqueda de un cambio...
And that's why, at Telefónica España, we offer you the opportunity to join our team.
Con esta oportunidad podrás adentrarte en el apasionante universo tecnológico y ser parte del cambio: un mundo más conectado, más humano, y lleno de historias que transforman vidas.
WE WANT PEOPLE LIKE YOU... Leading the definition, implementation, evolution, and technical governance of the BMS (Building Management System) based on Niagara Framework for the supervision and control of Telefónica de España's critical infrastructures, ensuring the homogeneous integration of HVAC, energy, and auxiliary systems, the quality of alarms and data, operational continuity, cybersecurity, and energy efficiency. The position will act as the technical reference for Atalaya/Niagara, coordinating internal areas, manufacturers, and integrators, and guaranteeing an open, scalable, maintainable architecture oriented toward the 24x7 operation of power plants, data centers, and access sites.
Define and maintain the functional and technical architecture of the BMS based on Niagara 4: hierarchy of Supervisors and controllers, stations, templates, data model, tagging, histories, graphics, user profiles, backups, and high availability criteria. Prepare and update the Style Guide, regulations, and technical specifications to ensure homogeneous and reusable solutions across all sites.
Design and validate the integration into Atalaya/Niagara of HVAC, LV panels, transformers, generator sets, ATS, UPS, -48 V power panels, batteries, network analyzers, and environmental sensing via BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, OPC, MQTT, REST API, and legacy protocol gateways, including the progressive migration from EOC/N2R.
Define, standardize, and optimize alarms, thresholds, priorities, timings, interlocks, automation, and correlation logic between energy, climate, and service. Ensure that supervision allows for remote diagnosis, safe action, and reduction of false alarms, with differentiated criteria according to site criticality.
Technically govern manufacturers, integrators, and maintenance providers: review engineering and developments, coordinate FAT/SAT testing, commissioning, and handover to operations, validate deliverables and as-built documentation, and manage defects, risks, and action plans until closure.
Exploit BMS data to identify opportunities for energy efficiency, predictive maintenance, and improved availability. Prepare dashboards, root-cause analyses, technical reports, improvement plans, and executive presentations to facilitate decision-making and investment prioritization.
Coordinate the integration of the BMS with corporate operation, maintenance, inventory, and analytics systems, as well as with the IT architecture, IP communications, and security. Define requirements for interfaces, traceability, monitoring, access management, updates, and service continuity alongside Systems, Security, and Operations.
