Tech - Backup & Storage Services Expert

At Telefónica Tech, we design, develop, and evolve global-scale Cloud services, using advanced technologies, agile methodologies, and an end-to-end vision. From the Technical Development area of Cloud Services, we define the architectures that underpin Telefónica Tech's storage, backup, computing, and hybrid cloud services.

What will your day-to-day look like?

You will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and certification of Storage and Backup solutions, primarily on NetApp ONTAP, NetApp StorageGrid, and Commvault technologies.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Designing and evolving multi-client SAN, NAS, S3 storage, and backup services.
• Defining technical architectures and integrating platforms with infrastructure, networks, OSS/BSS systems, and security tools.
• Developing automations and integrations using REST APIs.
• Designing and executing validation tests and certification processes.
• Ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations (ENS, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, DORA).
• Preparing technical documentation and training engineering and support teams.
• Leading platform upgrades, capacity plans, and SLA definition.

• Teamwork skills, technical leadership, innovation, project management, effective communication, and results orientation.

We will also value:

• Knowledge of other storage and backup technologies (Pure Storage, Dell, Hitachi, IBM, Veeam, Veritas, etc.).
• LAN/SAN infrastructure, ITIL, and NetApp or Commvault certifications.

Education and skills

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.

• Intermediate-high English.

Required experience:

• Design, deployment, and certification of NetApp ONTAP and StorageGrid (S3) storage solutions.
• Experience with backup solutions based on Commvault and HyperScale X clusters.
• Development and integration using NetApp and Commvault REST APIs.
• Experience in virtualized environments such as VMware and/or Red Hat OpenStack.

¿Cómo será tu día a día?

Serás responsable del diseño, desarrollo, integración y certificación de soluciones de Storage y Backup, principalmente sobre tecnologías NetApp ONTAP, NetApp StorageGrid y Commvault.

Entre tus funciones principales:

• Diseñar y evolucionar servicios de almacenamiento SAN, NAS, S3 y backup multicliente.
• Definir arquitecturas técnicas e integrar plataformas con infraestructura, redes, sistemas OSS/BSS y herramientas de seguridad.
• Desarrollar automatizaciones e integraciones mediante APIs REST.
• Diseñar y ejecutar pruebas de validación y procesos de certificación.
• Garantizar el cumplimiento de estándares de seguridad y normativas (ENS, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, DORA).
• Elaborar documentación técnica y formar a equipos de ingeniería y soporte.
• Liderar actualizaciones de plataforma, planes de capacidad y definición de SLAs.

• Capacidad de trabajo en equipo, liderazgo técnico, innovación, gestión de proyectos, comunicación efectiva y orientación a resultados.

Valoraremos además:

• Conocimientos en otras tecnologías de almacenamiento y backup (Pure Storage, Dell, Hitachi, IBM, Veeam, Veritas, etc.).
• Infraestructura LAN/SAN, ITIL y certificaciones NetApp o Commvault.

Formación y competencias

• Grado en Ingeniería Informática, Telecomunicaciones o similar.

• Inglés intermedio-alto.
