The role

As a Kitchen Assistant at Puy du Fou, you will play a fundamental role in the smooth running of our kitchens. You will work under the direct supervision of the Head Chef and actively collaborate in the preparation of a wide variety of dishes that will delight our visitors. Your work will be essential to guarantee the quality, freshness, and presentation of every meal, thus contributing to the exceptional experience we offer.

What you'll do

Assist in the preparation of ingredients: washing, cutting, peeling, and portioning fruits, vegetables, meats, and fish.
Participate in the preparation of simple dishes and side dishes under the direction of the kitchen staff.
Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas, utensils, equipment, and kitchen surfaces, following the most rigorous hygiene and food safety standards.
Collaborate in the reception and storage of goods, verifying the quality and freshness of the products.
Manage the inventory of raw materials and communicate replenishment needs to the supervisor.
Support the daily mise en place to ensure the availability of all elements necessary for service.
Perform general kitchen cleaning tasks, including floors, walls, extractor hoods, and machinery.
Wash dishes, glassware, and kitchen utensils, ensuring their correct disinfection and storage.
Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP) and internal company policies.
Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team to guarantee an efficient and harmonious workflow.
Participate in the preparation of buffets or special services as necessary.
Stack and organize the food warehouse appropriately to preserve quality and avoid waste.
Be attentive to the needs of the service and anticipate possible problems.
Follow precise and detailed instructions for food preparation.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.
