We are looking for a Leather Cutter for a furrier located in central Madrid.

• Selection and preparation of natural skins, assessing quality, texture, thickness, and material yield.
• Precise cutting of skins according to patterns, molds, and technical sheets, optimizing material yield.
• Work both manually and with specific cutting machinery, guaranteeing high standards of quality and finishes.
• Collaboration with the garment making and design departments to ensure the correct execution of the garments.
• Control and classification of skins according to characteristics, defects, and intended use.
• Compliance with production deadlines.
• Basic maintenance of the workstation, tools, and cutting equipment.

• Extensive demonstrable experience as a leather cutter, preferably in furriery.
• Deep knowledge of different types of skins used in the furrier sector.
• High precision, manual dexterity, and ability to concentrate.
• Ability to interpret patterns and technical documentation.
• Autonomy, responsibility, and commitment to the quality of the final product.
• Valuable experience in artisanal or high-end production environments.
