About the role

From Temps, we are looking for a Shift Manager to join directly a top industrial company specialized in plastic injection.

We are looking for someone with plant experience, good technical judgment, and the ability to coordinate production during their shift, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, order, and productivity standards.

What will your mission be?

Be the person responsible for the proper operation of the factory during your shift, coordinating production priorities, adjusting process parameters, and ensuring that production output meets the required quantity and quality.

What you'll do

  • Monitor production during the shift.
  • Coordinate and prioritize activities according to production needs.
  • Make process parameter adjustments on injection machines.
  • Manage regrind, color changes, and emptying of finished machines.
  • Complete process parameter sheets.
  • Carry out mold checklists and color changes.
  • Approve the first shots of each production batch.
  • Perform necessary tests and adjustments in production.
  • Carry out first-level maintenance.
  • Clean magnets and maintain order and cleanliness during the shift.
  • Report incidents during the shift.
  • Ensure the correct use of machines, tools, and PPE.
