What we're looking for

  • Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony software for hand-drawn animation and excellent drawing skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and posing.
  • Ability to create expressive and dynamic character animations.
  • Availability to work in person in Tenerife, or in a hybrid way when production requires it.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities to address technical and artistic challenges.
  • Prior experience in traditional animation or character animation is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and production schedules.
  • A passion for storytelling and bringing characters to life through animation

The role

As a traditional animator working in Toon Boom Harmony, your role involves creating hand-drawn animation sequences using digital tools. Below are the main responsibilities associated with this position:

What you'll do

  • Develop high-quality hand-drawn animation sequences using Toon Boom Harmony software.
  • Work closely with the animation director and production team to understand and execute the desired artistic vision.
  • Create character movements, expressions, and actions that bring scripts and storyboards to life.
  • Ensure consistency in character design and animation style throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with other animators and artists to maintain production schedules and meet project deadlines.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions from supervisors to refine animation sequences.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve skills and enhance animation quality.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation of work for efficient workflow and future reference.
