What we're looking for

  • Demonstrable experience working in the 2D Animation industry (Movies, Animation Series, etc).
  • Availability to work in person in Tenerife, or in a hybrid way when production requires it.
  • High knowledge and experience working on Toonboom Harmony.
  • Knowledge of drawing and traditional animation.
  • Ability to work in a team, creating a pleasant atmosphere with colleagues.
  • Fluent communication in Spanish and English (conversation and writing).
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to tight deliveries.
  • High knowledge of the pipeline of 2D productions.

The role

The animator must manipulate the puppets of characters and props, previously prepared by a rigger. Must create movement, gestures and expressions that conform to the story and animatics approved in the previous steps of the production, following the guidelines of the Coordinator and Supervisor.

What you'll do

  • Understand the story and creative vision of the director. Correctly interpret the animatics.
  • Animate the assigned scenes maintaining the quality of the project.
  • Adapt tasks to delivery dates to meet the production schedule.
  • Demonstrate 2D animation skills that ensure the general look, attitude, and reference point of the character's animation.
  • Provide dynamic and cinematic poses to animate.
  • Comply with and follow the technical guidelines of the series.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions from supervisors to refine animation sequences.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve skills and enhance animation quality.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation of work for efficient workflow and future reference.
