Requirements

What we're looking for

- Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training in degrees related to laboratory techniques

- Experience in the use of applications related to the BIM, GIS, REVIT, Virtual Reality (VR), AI environments, and others related to the subjects taught at the EPS.

- 2 to 3 years of experience in functions related to the position.

- B1 English level.

- Organizational capacity, management of technical resources, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Nice to have

- We value experience in testing and quality control of construction materials, as well as in teaching or research laboratories.

The role

The Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM) is looking to hire a Laboratory Technician for its Higher Polytechnic School, to modernize and update activities linked to the subjects and competencies of the degrees it offers, especially in architectural subjects, building engineering, civil engineering, telecommunications, and computer engineering, so as to update its methods to make them compatible with new available resources: BIM environment, GIS, REVIT, Virtual Reality (VR), AI, etc.

What you'll do

Main duties

- Plan and prepare practical sessions and testing of construction materials in coordination with the faculty.

- Support faculty and students in practical sessions regarding structures, construction, materials, geotechnical engineering, installations, building pathology, and other areas related to the subjects taught at the EPS.

- Organize technical resources and maintain the laboratory and its equipment in proper working condition.

How you'll work

Schedule: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 14:00 and 15:30 - 18:00
