What we're looking for

We are looking for an Architect with at least 5 years of experience, accustomed to working goal-oriented and with initiative, dynamism, perseverance, capacity for work, and responsibility, but who also knows how to accept the general guidelines of the Company. The work will be in a team and in a changing environment, so they must be easy to deal with, flexible, and modest. With a very solid personal and professional ethic, in line with VELUX values.

Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, as well as knowledge of IT tools (AutoCAD and Office) is essential. Use of Illustrator, InDesign, CE3X, HULC will be valued.

The role

We need to incorporate an Architect into our Technical Office in Alcobendas to support our team of delegates and specifiers and architects in Spain and Portugal, as well as to promote natural light and healthy, sustainable building among industry professionals.

What you'll do

or Preparation of inspirational material for specification (solutions, catalogs, technical articles, conference material) aimed at both architects and real estate developers.

or Preparation of technical material (construction details, technical data sheets, unit descriptions,...)

or Technical support to architects and builders (direct support and to our specification team, to the sales team, solutions with our products, technical advice, etc.)

or PR activities with architects and construction professionals (organization of talks, meetings, student competitions, relations with academia, etc.)

or Monitoring and influencing construction regulations, as part of the Public Affairs team.

Direct report to the Specification and New Construction Management.
