What we're looking for

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including experience in strategy consulting, technology transformation, technology strategy, enterprise architecture, or related fields.

• Recent experience in a consulting firm is a mandatory requirement for the position.

• Professional experience working with clients in the Telecommunications sector.

• Experience developing business and managing commercial relationships with clients within a consulting environment.

• Experience leading commercial opportunities, proposals, or transformation initiatives for clients.

• Experience building, leading, or growing multidisciplinary teams within consulting or transformation organizations.

• Minimum 2 years of experience using artificial intelligence, generative artificial intelligence, or AI tools applied to a professional environment.

• English level C1 or higher.

• Residence and valid work permit in Spain.

• Availability to work in a hybrid modality from Madrid or Barcelona.

The role

At Accenture, we are looking for a Director with recent consulting experience and a track record in the Communications, Media & Technology sector, especially Telco.

The person will lead the creation from scratch of the CMT vertical within TST / Digital Core, so we need someone with the ability to build business, develop high-level client relationships, and attract and train their own team.

We prioritize the commercial and strategic component over a purely technological profile.

What you'll do

We are looking for a senior profile, highly oriented toward business development and client relationships, who possesses their own portfolio and has the capacity to generate new commercial opportunities.

• Create and execute a growth strategy for the Technology Strategy & Transformation practice in CMT.
• Develop and maintain commercial relationships with clients in the Telecommunications sector and other Communications, Media & Technology segments.
• Lead executive conversations regarding technology strategy, technology transformation, and enterprise architecture.
• Generate new consulting opportunities and participate in the development and closing of commercial proposals.
• Build and scale multidisciplinary teams in consulting, technology strategy, and architecture based on the growth of the practice.
• Coordinate strategy, architecture, and technology teams to transform business priorities into transformation programs.
• Incorporate artificial intelligence and generative AI into the identification and definition of business and technology transformation opportunities.
• Participate in the development of talent, capabilities, and sector knowledge within the practice.

The position can be based in Madrid or Barcelona.
