A Sofitel Hotel in Barcelona! With an unbeatable location overlooking the sea and close to the beach, it is ideal for business and leisure travelers.
It has comfortable rooms, two pools and a gym. For meetings, it has fully equipped rooms that can hold up to 800 people.

Job description

At Restaurante Tendiez, we are looking for a Cook passionate about gastronomy and detail, with a team mindset and an orientation toward excellence. Reporting to the Chef de Partie and the Sous Chef, your mission will be to guarantee the correct functioning of the assigned station, ensuring maximum quality, consistency, and presentation in every service, meeting the standards of our most demanding clients.

What you'll do

Constantly offer professional, warm, and proactive service, collaborating with the team to ensure fluid service.
Participate in the preparation, production, and plating of dishes for the menu and/or buffet, following recipes, technical sheets, and hotel standards.
Guarantee compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP), applying them practically on a day-to-day basis.
Maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment in a perfect state of cleanliness and order, respecting established protocols.
Review and control kitchen materials and supplies, communicating incidents, needs, or breakdowns to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Report on excess/shortage of stock for daily service and ensure the correct preservation, rotation, and utilization of products.
Prepare dishes according to quality, flavor, and plating standards, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
Have an in-depth knowledge of the menu, the daily specials, and promotions to guarantee consistency and coordination with service.
