About the role

We are looking for an Industrial Mechanical Workshop Manager to join a well-established industrial company located in the Maresme area. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating the mechanical manufacturing area, leading the production team and ensuring compliance with quality, safety and efficiency standards.

What will your mission be?

Organise, coordinate and supervise the day-to-day activity of the workshop, ensuring the proper functioning of production processes, team management and achievement of manufacturing objectives.

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

-Organise and distribute workshop workloads.

-Coordinate and supervise the team of operators.

-Monitor manufacturing orders, materials and production.

-Supervise tools, machinery, tooling and technical documentation.

-Coordinate the assembly of prototypes and pre-series.

-Verify that manufactured parts meet the required technical specifications, tolerances and finishes.

-Collaborate with Production Engineering on continuous process improvement.

-Ensure preventive maintenance of machinery and instruments.

-Ensure compliance with safety, quality, order and cleanliness standards.

-Manage incidents, permits and the needs of staff under your charge.

Experience in coordinating and managing production teams.

Knowledge of sheet metal transformation, cutting, bending and MIG/TIG welding.

Experience with punching machines, fibre lasers, press brakes, presses and workshop machinery.

Ability to read technical drawings.

Knowledge of CAD/CAM tools and computer systems.

A profile with leadership, organisational skills, initiative and a results-oriented approach.
