Electrical Maintenance Manager

In this position, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage the maintenance area, ensuring the correct functioning of the facilities and equipment. You will work in collaboration with the Production and Maintenance team, in an environment where safety, efficiency, and quality are fundamental. Your main responsibilities will be: Lead and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, with a special focus on electrical systems and equipment.

Guarantee the reliability and availability of the production lines and plant equipment.

Analyze recurring breakdowns and failures, identify their root causes, and define and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Prioritize maintenance activities based on production needs, equipment criticality, and available resources.

Coordinate maintenance interventions with the Production team to minimize the impact on operations.

Coordinate and supervise the activities of internal maintenance resources and external maintenance companies.

Provide technical support for incidents related to electrical and electromechanical maintenance.

Ensure adequate planning and monitoring of preventive maintenance activities.

Create, maintain, and update maintenance technical documentation, procedures, and manuals.

Support the management and acquisition of spare parts and maintenance equipment, guaranteeing their availability and adequate stock levels.

Supervise and control the spare parts inventory in coordination with the Purchasing department.

Monitor maintenance costs and expenses and identify optimization opportunities.

Participate in the definition and implementation of technical improvements and investments related to maintenance.

Guarantee that maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with applicable safety requirements and procedures.

Identify opportunities to improve the reliability and performance of electrical and electromechanical equipment.

Lead improvement projects related to electrical maintenance, equipment reliability, and maintenance efficiency.

Analyze recurring failures and maintenance incidents and propose technical solutions.

Define improvement actions, technical requirements, and project priorities.

Prepare and monitor budgets, deadlines, and project implementation.

Coordinate the implementation of technical improvements with internal teams and external suppliers.

Define and monitor relevant KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance improvement initiatives.

Identify opportunities to optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.

Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and technical solutions aimed at improving equipment reliability and maintenance performance.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, we are looking for a person who meets the following:

Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
Previous experience in a maintenance management position, preferably in the chemical or industrial sector.
Solid knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to manage teams and plan resources efficiently.
Analytical skills to diagnose technical problems and propose solutions.
Commitment to occupational safety and compliance with environmental regulations.
Proactive, decisive attitude oriented toward continuous improvement.
Valuable knowledge: root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and Lean Manufacturing.
Availability to work full-time and adapt to an open work schedule.
High level of English
