Sensory and Consumer Analysis Manager

We are looking to incorporate into our team a person with a university degree in Sciences (Food Science and Technology, Pharmacy, Biology or similar)

Specialized knowledge in Sensory Analysis, Neuroscience, Statistics, and Project Management is required. Additionally, the person must have an advanced level of English and a minimum of 7 years of experience in the area of consumer studies. Experience in team management will also be valued.

To fulfill this mission, at AINIA we are looking to incorporate into our staff of professionals a:

• Strategy development: In coordination with the Unit Management, establishes the line's strategy by identifying new technologies (neuroscience, applications of artificial intelligence to sensory analysis, etc.), opportunities, and market niches additional to the food sector.
• Budget management: Is responsible for the preparation and fulfillment of the budget, as well as the preparation of the annual activity plan for their line.
• Project management and monitoring: Is responsible for ensuring the proper integral management of the projects, tasks, and services under their responsibility, keeping all necessary information updated and consistent (invoicing, execution, resource planning, work reports...), guaranteeing the reliability and coherence of corporate data.
• Business development: promotes the business development of the line and collaborates, together with the Unit Management and the Market Unit, in the commercialization of the technical solutions of their line, performing sales visits, presenting proposals to clients, and participating in workshops, forums, congresses, etc., to disseminate the organization's capabilities and develop networking.
• Team leadership, evaluation, and development support: leads the work team assigned to their line by organizing their activity, promoting their professional development, and ensuring the quality of the work developed, the optimization of teamwork, and the maintenance of a good working environment, fostering collaboration beyond the line of activity, as well as self-leadership and autonomy. Conducts development support meetings and performance evaluations for the assigned team.
• Supervision: periodically supervises the status of ongoing proposals and projects, guaranteeing compliance with the quality requirements of all activities developed.
• Coordination of large-scale projects: may participate in the coordination and execution of large-scale projects within the line, or in multidisciplinary projects with other lines of activity.
• Reporting: reports to the Unit Management on progress in medium and short-term plans, and reports incidents in projects, changes in approaches, supervision of progress, etc.
• Continuous improvement: stays up to date with news, new products, trends, and studies carried out in their area of knowledge, collaborating in the development of new products and services, and the introduction of improvements in the work processes of their area of responsibility. Contributes significant ideas and proposes the acquisition of tools and technologies.
• Communication and representation: may develop content for communication and promotion actions and participate in specialized forums and media interventions.
