What we're looking for

We would love to meet you if you feel passion for retail, food, and people, and if you have:

University Degree. It will be positively valued if you are a graduate in careers related to the environment: Biology; Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences, Agronomy Engineering, Forestry Engineering, etc.
Master's in Sustainability or equivalent training in climate, decarbonization, sustainability, circular economy, or environment.
Advanced Excel proficiency (macros; pivot tables; advanced functions, and dashboards)
B2 English

If you are selected, your mission will be to apply our policies across different sustainability matters, based on three pillars: the fight against climate change, circular economy, and biodiversity conservation, while collaborating in the following functions:

Collaborate in our "Alliances for Decarbonization" project, which aims to reduce emissions generated by Auchan Group's Scope 3
Provide support to the Product Management team regarding the carbon footprint, communicating with more than 500 suppliers to collect information on their carbon footprint, reduction plans, and objectives, offering advice and promoting their progress in climate maturity
Support our Animal Welfare policy, taking into account the economic context, competitor positioning, societal demands, and reputational impact
Collaboration for the implementation of different European Sustainability regulations
Support in the co-construction of Biodiversity policies, together with our headquarters in France, regarding fishing, regenerative agriculture, forests, waste, and circular economy.
Extraction and collaboration in the analysis and reporting of indicators across different matters.
Attendance at periodic meetings with associations such as AECOC, expert consulting firms, and attendance at Group meetings, at an international level, regarding decarbonization.
Participation and training in other CSR areas and projects that we are working on at a national and international level.

How you'll work

Schedule: (8:00-15:00)
Location: Alcampo Offices, CC La Vaguada, Barrio El Pilar (Madrid)
