Avanza needs to hire maintenance mechanics and/or electromechanics to service urban buses in Viladecans, Barcelona, in the categories of Workshop Assistant, Second-Class Skilled Tradesperson, and First-Class Skilled Tradesperson.

WORKSHOP ASSISTANT FUNCTIONS

• Carries out the cleaning of the vehicles in the wash bay.
• Controls and performs the external cleaning of the yard.
• Is in charge of refueling the vehicles that arrive at the facilities.
• Checks the cleaning kit as well as the ramps.
• Carries out the movement of the vehicles located in the workshop according to the breakdown situation.
• Performs and checks the ITV of the vehicles to update the necessary stickers.
• Carries out the tests of the broken-down vehicles that are in the workshop as well as the change of their location.
• Changes the vehicles in the yard for the next day's departure.
• Controls the oils at the gas station.
• Carries out the downloading of the tachograph pins and the downloading of the vending machines.
• Collaborates in the delivery of the vehicles to the drivers.

SECOND-CLASS SKILLED TRADESPERSON MECHANIC FUNCTIONS

• Collaborates in the diagnosis of faults or breakdowns and their repair with the first-class skilled tradespeople of each specialty.
• Collaborates in the verification and control of the mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of the bus's operation.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tire changes, injectors, mirrors, light bulbs, fuel system, engine cooling, among others)
• Performs periodic inspections of the bus fleet.
• Performs basic repairs: mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical.
• Repair and/or replacement of distributions and clutches.
• Selects the machines, tools, and safety equipment necessary to carry out the maintenance processes.

FIRST-CLASS SKILLED TRADESPERSON MECHANIC FUNCTIONS

• Locates and diagnoses faults or breakdowns and repairs them, using electronic systems and computer programs for detecting vehicle faults to detect them.
• Analyzes the information provided by the diagnostic equipment, comparing it with the specifications given by the manufacturer to determine the maintenance and repair process.
• Selects the repair processes by interpreting the technical information included in manuals and catalogs.
• Selects the machines, tools, and safety equipment necessary to carry out the maintenance processes in the electromechanical area.
• Repairs assemblies, subassemblies, and elements of the vehicle's mechanical systems, using the repair techniques prescribed by the manufacturers.
