Mechanical Manager for UK Project

At BETWEEN Group, we are actively searching for a Mechanical Lead with a solid track record and a minimum of 5 years of experience to join one of our teams in Madrid. You will join a key Water Treatment Plant project in the United Kingdom, an exceptional opportunity to lead and manage crucial aspects of mechanical engineering.

This project focuses on the design and supply of a water treatment plant in the United Kingdom. Your role will be fundamental in the supervision and management of large-scale mechanical equipment, including but not limited to: submersible pumps, overhead cranes, filters, valves, etc. The primary responsibility will be the integral management of this equipment, from the receipt and validation of data sheets to the issuance of requests for quotation, the subsequent performance of tabulations and, finally, the execution of the entire procurement process.

• Lead the technical and contractual management of the specified mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate and supervise the preparation and review of equipment data sheets, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage the bidding and procurement process, including the preparation of specifications, the evaluation of offers, and the selection of suppliers.
• Perform and validate technical and economic tabulations for decision-making.
• Ensure the correct management of the technical documentation related to the mechanical equipment, from specification to final delivery.
• Maintain fluid and constant communication with the project team in the United Kingdom, actively participating in daily and weekly meetings.
• Organize and prioritize team tasks and project activities, using judgment to define priorities and resolve incidents.
• Collaborate closely with other departments (processes, hydraulics, etc.) to guarantee coherence and the correct integration of the equipment.
• Ensure compliance with the deadlines and objectives established for the delivery of the equipment.
