Requirements
What we're looking for
- Degree in scientific careers (Mathematics, Computer Science, engineering,..
- At least 3 years of experience in Data projects (ETLs, Data Modeling, Analytics, Visualization,...)
- High level and experience in data tools: SQL, Python, Airflow,... as well as collaborative code development (GIT)
- Interpersonal skills, teamwork, and an interest in knowledge sharing to help drive the team's skills, as well as own initiative and high autonomy in the development of assigned tasks.
Nice to have
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform tools will be valued: Big Query, Composer,...

The role
The corporate planning team, in collaboration with other areas of the bank and subsidiaries, carries out profit and loss, balance sheet, and solvency projections for multiple scenarios and horizons (for example: Caixabank Group Budgeting, Strategic Planning Projections, Adverse scenario impact estimates, including regulatory uses (ICAAP, EBA Stress Test,...)
The mission of the Projection Models and Solutions (MSP) team is to promote the transformation of the team to streamline and systematize the approach of data to decisions through data science projects and new technologies. To this end, we develop:
- New tools/solutions based on Caixabank's technological stack to be used by the corporate planning team and other teams participating in the projection, so as to streamline processes and provide new analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Statistical models on the future behavior of the drivers that determine the entity's profit and loss, balance sheet, and solvency.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the transformation of the team by developing applications and driving
- The adoption of new technologies available within the MSP team
- The use of data Discovery tools by the Corporate Planning team
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the informational structure of the area.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a new global projection solution, which will transform the current catalog of non-integrated applications
- Perform continuous evolution of applications to continuously improve their capabilities and maintain a high appetite for innovation.
- Participate, from the perspective of data and application contribution, in the projection exercises that are carried out.
Job profile
Querying, structuring, and analyzing large volumes of data using statistical and programming skills to identify patterns and extract valuable insights for the organization. Able to communicate insights clearly and in a structured manner through presentations and/or dashboards.
