The role

Direction (definition, monitoring and implementation) of operational services and processes related to banking activity and special operations to ensure their proper functioning and continuity, on a day-to-day basis, as well as the development and management of the operational control layer and the monitoring system.

What you'll do

Operations Reporting is a transversal unit whose objective is to ensure compliance with the regulatory reporting that is the responsibility of the Operations Directorate within the activity areas of Markets, Payments, and Accounts (for example, EMIR Reporting, Transaction Reporting, CNMV Reserved Conduct Status, Cesop, Payment Institution Reporting)

The main activities of the Unit with respect to the reports under its responsibility are:

  • Project management for the technical and operational implementation of reports in coordination with the other directorates of Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Information Systems. Definition of requirements.
  • Controlling the execution of reports within the established quality parameters and deadlines. Control and monitoring of incidents.
  • Ensuring the application of regulatory updates to the reporting processes.
  • Attending to the requirements and requests of regulators regarding the reported activity.

The responsibilities you will assume in the position are:

  • Participation in transversal projects for the implementation of new reports and/or tools for their management.
  • Proactive monitoring and control of adaptations, gaps, and findings affecting the reports for which the unit is responsible.
  • It will focus on EMIR, EMIR 3, EMIR UK, CSA (Canada), CFTC (USA), and ASIC (Australia) derivative reporting.
