For our service center inTudela, we are looking to hire aWorkshop Technician.
This is a role suited to people with manual skills, a customer-focused attitude, a willingness to learn and a commitment to doing the job well. You don't need previous experience in the glass sector to succeed in this position: if you meet the requirements of the role and bring the right attitude, motivation, aptitude for manual work and a desire to grow, previous specific experience will not be an issue.
During your onboarding, you will receive complete training at one of our training centers, where you will learn the procedures, tools and knowledge needed to perform the role safely, with quality and confidence.
You will be part of the workshop team and will participate in the repair, replacement and recalibration of vehicle glass, following the technical, quality and safety procedures established by Carglass®.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Perform vehicle glass repairs and replacements.
Use technical tools and equipment according to defined procedures.
Maintain service quality, safety and order in the workshop.
Attend to customers in a friendly, clear and professional manner.
Explain the work carried out and resolve basic service-related questions.
Identify additional customer needs and recommend solutions honestly and naturally.
Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure good organization of the center and an excellent customer experience.
We are looking for a person with a positive attitude, responsibility and a desire to grow in a technical and service-oriented environment.
We would like you to bring:
Experience or aptitude for manual work, assembly, repair, tools or technical environments.
Interest in learning a technical specialty related to the automotive sector.
Organization, attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work at a steady pace, adapt to changes and maintain quality even during peak activity.
Good customer interaction skills and the ability to communicate clearly.
Teamwork, collaboration and a positive attitude.
A valid driver's license.
Previous experience in automotive, mechanics, bodywork and painting, glass fitting or similar roles will be positively valued, although it is not essential.
