Join our team! We are Great Place to Work Spain #CreatingTogether
Are you passionate about the idea of taking AI-powered robotic systems from concept to validation in real-world environments?
Do you want to work with humanoids, quadrupeds, and manipulators in R&D+i projects with industrial applications?
Are you looking for an environment where you can exercise technical leadership and support the growth of junior profiles?
At CIRCE, we develop AI-powered robotic systems for industrial environments and R&D+i projects, both European and with clients.
If you define yourself as a person with a robotics-native mindset, experimental rigor, and a vocation for technical leadership...
We would love to meet you!
You will join our AI team, in the cognitive robotics and computer vision lines. We are looking for a senior profile capable of taking AI-powered robotic systems from concept to validation in real-world environments.
You will combine the design of architectures and the integration of AI models with direct work on platforms, sensors, and experimental equipment, and you will support the technical growth of the team's junior profiles.
• You will design and implement software architectures for robotic systems (humanoids, quadrupeds, and manipulators), integrating perception, planning, and control.
• You will lead the commissioning, validation, and characterization of robotic platforms and computer vision systems (2D/3D cameras, lighting, calibration, sensor synchronization).
• You will integrate AI models (vision, reinforcement learning, imitation learning, vision-language-action models, and foundation models) into real robots, addressing sim-to-real transfer.
• You will define experimental protocols and validation metrics, and ensure the reproducibility and documentation of results.
• You will diagnose and resolve complex hardware-software integration issues during commissioning and operation.
• You will develop use cases in industrial environments and R&D+i projects (European and with clients), providing technical judgment to evaluate feasibility, risks, and technological maturity.
• You will contribute to the technical writing of proposals.
• You will mentor junior engineers and those in our CIRCE Academy Young Talent Program, reviewing their work and transferring laboratory and development best practices to them.
• Robotics-native mindset: you understand the complete system (mechanics, electronics, software, data, and safety) and think in terms of integration and robustness
• Technical autonomy and the ability to take responsibility for a development from start to finish
• Experimental rigor: you define hypotheses, measure, analyze failures, and document with judgment
• Communication with research, industry, and management profiles, and the ability to translate client needs into technical requirements
• Vocation for technical leadership and team training
• Transversal vision of robotics: you understand the interdependencies between perception, manipulation, locomotion, and autonomy, and translate them into architecture and integration decisions
