Power Electronics Engineer

· Degree/Master's in Electronic, Electrical, Industrial, or Telecommunications Engineering

· More than 3 years in the design and commissioning of power converters (AC/DC, DC/DC) and their digital control.

· Experience in modeling, simulation, and advanced control of converters (Matlab/Simulink, PLECS, PSCAD).

· B2- C1 English level

· We value experience in medium voltage power topologies and modular multilevel systems.

· PhD in Power Electronics, Control, or Energy

· Experience in European projects (Horizon Europe, FP7)

· Technical management of R&D projects.

· Grid codes (RfG, NTS).

· Knowledge of batteries, supercapacitors, or electrolyzers.

· It is valuable to have previous experience in innovation projects and in the integration of converters in projects with private end customers.

As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and validation of converters and control algorithms oriented towards the integration of renewable sources, storage systems in the electrical grid, or electric mobility.

You will work hand in hand with hardware, firmware, and systems teams, defining the technical architecture and coordinating prototypes (HW-in-the-Loop, test benches).

Your mission is to successfully carry out the technical developments in power electronics and control defined in customer specifications or the defined European project. You will have the opportunity to develop cutting-edge projects in DC grids with hybrid storage, photovoltaic, and H2 systems, as well as innovation projects in a Group that possesses innovative Solid State Transformer technology, and proprietary AC/DC, DC/DC, and other cutting-edge designs.

You will be the technical voice of the projects before customers, European consortia, and certification bodies, contributing directly to the innovation strategy and the company's competitiveness in the energy transition sector.
