The role

DNV's Measurements department is looking for a Sales Engineer to support the commercial operations in Southern Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Africa markets. We are focusing on reinforcing the commercial team for measurement services.

As a Sales Engineer, you will support the development of our business by combining technical understanding with a strong commercial focus. You will work closely with clients and our technical teams to understand project needs, identify the most suitable solutions, and prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals.

What you'll do

The main activities performed by the Measurements department are:

Wind and Solar Resource Measurements for new wind farms and PV plants developments
Power Performance Measurements in wind turbines
Power Quality Measurements in power plants
Grid Code Compliance Services in power plants
Preparation of technical and commercial proposals. Working closely with technical teams to define project scope, resources, schedule and costs.
Business relationships with current and new customers as well as key local suppliers
Work with CRM tool (Salesforce)
Following up on opportunities and supporting the management of the sales pipeline.
Analysis of the pipeline trends in the different markets
Accomplishment of the Order Intake goals of the department

Qualifications

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded engineer who enjoys working with clients and technical teams and is motivated by turning technical challenges into practical solutions.

The following qualifications and skills will be valued:

Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
Proactive and problem-solving attitude
Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
Good communication skills both in English and Spanish. Other languages will be highly valued.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary and international team.
Interest on commercial and financial aspects.
Interest in renewable energy and the energy transition.
Previous experience in sales, business development, proposal preparation or client-facing technical roles would be an advantage.
