Who FITS this role?

A dynamic, organized person who enjoys direct contact with customers, has strong communication skills, feels comfortable working in a team and brings ideas to optimize processes and improve the customer experience.

Intermediate/Advanced vocational training qualification or equivalent.
Intermediate/advanced level of English. (other languages are valued)
Good command of digital tools (email, spreadsheets, etc.).
A valid driving licence (category B) is essential.
No previous experience required; we value attitude, willingness to learn and customer focus.

The role

At AVIS Canarias we are looking for a person to work as a Rental Agent in our office located in Costa Calma, southern Fuerteventura.

The mission of a Rental Agent is the preparation and delivery of vehicles to customers at hotels, ensuring a smooth, professional experience in line with the brand's quality standards.

What you'll do

Deliver vehicles to customers at hotels in the area, explaining rental terms and resolving any customer questions.
Ensure fast and professional service.
Advise customers: answer questions about the rental, explain coverage and additional products.
Monitor the fleet's condition, inspecting and recording any damage or incidents on the vehicles.
Prepare vehicles for delivery, carry out cleaning, refueling and ensure they are in perfect condition for rental.
Manage the fleet: coordinate with workshops and maintenance centers to optimize car availability.
Ensure a positive and welcoming work environment.

How you'll work

Full-time position (40 hours/week) with rotating days off.
Morning shift: from 06:30 to 14:30.
