Requirements
What we're looking for
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or similar. A Master's in Finance, Management Control, or Business Analytics is valued.
- 4-8 years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Business Analysis, or Finance Business Partnering.
- Experience in business analysis and monitoring performance indicators.
- Experience collaborating with Operations and Commercial teams.
- Fluent English (minimum B2).
- Advanced level of Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP (SAP or others).
- Financial modeling and data analysis.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Analytical mindset and business orientation.
- Ability to transform data into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to influence and constructively challenge stakeholders.

The role
What are we looking for?
At DSV Road, we want to bring a Business Controller Road into our Madrid offices. Their main mission will be to act as a financial and analytical Business Partner for the Road division, providing information, analysis, and recommendations that drive decision-making, profitable growth, and continuous business improvement.
What you'll do
Among the tasks, the main ones will be the following:
❖ Act as a financial and strategic partner to the Road Management, supporting decision-making through financial and operational analysis.
❖ Analyze revenue, Gross Profit, EBIT, and operational KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and growth levers.
❖ Monitor business performance against Budget, Forecast, and strategic objectives, identifying risks and opportunities.
❖ Perform profitability analysis by customer, branch, traffic, product, and business segment.
❖ Support Operations, Sales, and Management in commercial decisions, pricing, investments, and strategic projects.
❖ Prepare analyses, business cases, and recommendations that drive growth and profitability.
❖ Develop dashboards, KPIs, and analytical tools to improve business visibility and monitoring.
❖ Drive initiatives for automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement of processes and reporting.
❖ Translate financial and operational information into concrete actions to improve business performance.
