The role

A major company in the pharmaceutical sector is looking for a Business Controller based in Madrid (city center). The ideal candidate will have at least 3-4 years of experience as a business controller. Experience in Big4 in TAS departments or consulting is highly valued. A high level of English is essential. Hybrid work format (6 days of remote work).

What you'll do

Reporting to the Management Controller, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following functions:

Analytical reporting, both financial and commercial and industrial
Analytical ability for the development of ad-hoc analyses (business cases)
Participation in the monthly closing, ensuring the quality, consistency, and traceability of financial information.
Support in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly rolling forecasts
Ability to communicate with different areas of the business.
Use and optimization of the ERP (Business Central) as a source of analytical financial information.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or similar.
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Controlling or financial analysis, ideally in an industrial environment.
Advanced mastery of Excel and reporting tools.
Experience with ERP (Business Central is desirable).
Good handling of AI (Claude, Copilot, Chat GPT)
High level of English (oral and written).
Experience in operational reporting and business analysis.
