The expected base salary range for this position ranges from €18,750 to €25,000. DTN is a performance-based pay organization, which means there is the possibility to increase your compensation over time based on your performance. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on many factors, including, but not limited to: previous work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity, and applicable legislation. The expected base salary range for hiring is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This position may also be eligible for variable compensation and market-competitive benefits.

Job Description:

DTN, a multinational company with more than 35 years of experience in meteorology and the environment, is looking to hire a field technician to perform installation, maintenance, and support tasks for integrated meteorology systems and air quality stations.

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of meteorological and air quality stations.
• Diagnosis and repair of faults in the field.
• Installation and commissioning of electronic measurement equipment.
• Operational testing and equipment validation.
• Configuration of networks, communications, and data logging systems.
• Preparation of technical reports and work logs.
• Software and firmware updates.
• Support for other technical projects of the company.

• Driving licence (B).
• Availability to travel.

• Electronics (analog/digital), reading blueprints, interpretation of electronic schematics.
• Networks and communications (Ethernet, RS-232/485, TCP/IP, VPN).
• Low-voltage electricity.
• Handling of measurement and diagnostic tools.

• Ability for autonomous work and time management.
