About the role

At Estel, we are specialists in comprehensive installations (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, telecommunications, and trigeneration) for hotel projects, premium residential developments, and highly complex builds. With an international presence across multiple countries, we are growing and looking to bring on board a Commissioning Team Manager to lead commissioning processes on our projects in Mexico. The position is open to both local profiles and candidates willing to relocate from Spain.

What you'll do

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the commissioning of comprehensive installations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications, and control systems) on projects in Mexico.

  • Lead and manage the technical commissioning team (electromechanical and BMS specialists), allocating resources and setting priorities.

  • Develop and execute testing, verification, and validation protocols for all installed systems.

  • Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and the technical supervision team to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.

  • Identify and resolve technical issues during the commissioning process, proposing effective solutions.

  • Document the entire commissioning process: protocols, test reports, punch lists, and handover records.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable local and international regulations, as well as health and safety standards on site.

  • Report on the progress and status of commissioning activities to the project management team.
