About the role
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Commissioning Technician to join our team at CADAGUA, S.A. in Madrid. This position is key to ensuring the proper operation and operability of our water treatment facilities, guaranteeing the quality and efficiency of the processes.
What you'll do
Responsibilities:
* Plan, execute, and supervise commissioning activities for water treatment plants (drinking water, wastewater, industrial).
* Perform functional and performance tests on equipment and systems (pumps, valves, instrumentation, control systems, etc.).
* Adjust and optimize process parameters to meet design requirements and water quality objectives.
* Prepare commissioning technical reports, recording data, results, and any incidents.
* Train plant operations staff on the operation and maintenance of equipment and systems.
* Collaborate with engineering, design, and construction departments to resolve issues during the commissioning phase.
* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during all phases of commissioning.
* Carry out technical site visits, both nationally and internationally.
Job Qualifications:
What we're looking for
* Higher-level vocational training (Grado Superior) or a technical engineering degree/Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in commissioning water treatment plants or similar industrial processes.
* Solid knowledge of control systems (PLCs, SCADA) and instrumentation.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* English level B2 or higher.
* Availability for frequent travel (domestic and international).
* Analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork.
* Results-oriented and proactive attitude.
* Valid B driver's license.

Buscamos un/a Técnico/a de Puesta en Marcha para unirse a nuestro equipo en CADAGUA, S.A. en Madrid. Esta posición es clave para asegurar el correcto funcionamiento y la operatividad de nuestras instalaciones de tratamiento de agua, garantizando la calidad y eficiencia de los procesos.
What you'll do
Funciones:
* Planificar, ejecutar y supervisar las actividades de puesta en marcha de plantas de tratamiento de agua (potable, residual, industrial).
* Realizar pruebas funcionales y de rendimiento de equipos y sistemas (bombas, válvulas, instrumentación, sistemas de control, etc.).
* Ajustar y optimizar los parámetros de proceso para alcanzar los requisitos de diseño y los objetivos de calidad del agua.
* Elaborar informes técnicos de puesta en marcha, registrando datos, resultados y posibles incidencias.
* Formar al personal de operación de la planta sobre el funcionamiento y mantenimiento de los equipos y sistemas.
* Colaborar con los departamentos de ingeniería, diseño y construcción para la resolución de problemas durante la fase de puesta en marcha.
