At Ethikos, we are looking for a Credit Rating Analyst, bilingual in French, for the first European Rating Agency specialised in SMEs, based in Madrid.


What tasks will you perform on a day-to-day basis?

  • Credit risk assessment of SMEs, providing creditworthiness recommendations.
  • Analysis of financial statements, qualitative information and understanding of credit assessment tools.
  • Writing risk assessment reports, synthesising critical factors that support the overall recommendation and establish predictive High Quality models.
  • Contribute to proactively improve internal credit assessment tools.
  • Have high decision making and qualitative credit risk information gathering and assessment skills in the SME field.
  • Plan and organise the workload of the teams to ensure the achievement of the set objectives.

What is essential for this role?

  • Proficiency in advanced French (to be tested).
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in SME credit risk analysis, either in the risk department or as SME commercial management manager, preferably in banking or credit insurers.
  • Technical financial knowledge and knowledge of current European regulations.
  • Ability and agility to recognise and gather valid market information.
  • Degree in Economics and Finance.
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst), CIIA (Certified International Investment Analyst) certifications will be a plus.
