Our client, one of the largest banking groups in Europe, is looking to hire a Credit Risk Analyst to strengthen its Risk team within an international and demanding banking environment.
The selected candidate will actively participate in the analysis, evaluation, and decision-making of financing transactions, adhering to internal risk policies and contributing to decision-making in Credit Committees.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities

Within the framework of compliance with internal procedures, the Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Risk analysis of credit, leasing, and rental transactions, for both individuals and companies.
  • Assessment of the viability of applications in accordance with internal risk standards.
  • Verification of the completeness and conformity of documentation, in direct coordination with commercial teams.
  • Preparation of a detailed financial analysis to assess counterparty risk and, where applicable, the valuation of collateral and the financed asset.
  • Preparation and drafting of credit files, including conclusions and recommendations.
  • Decision-making on transactions within the assigned delegation level or submission of files to the Credit Committee.
  • Active participation in Credit Committees, presenting recommendations.
  • Review and validation of internal risk ratings.
  • Monitoring of counterparties under watch and drafting opinions within the framework of the quarterly Watchlist Committees.

  • Ability for critical analysis and challenge, with a strong focus on risk quality.
  • Excellent synthesis and writing skills for risk reports.
  • Autonomy, rigor, proactivity, and the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
