Requirements

What we're looking for

Demonstrable experience in nutritional intervention clinical trials
Experience in the design and management of clinical studies

Nice to have

Postdoctoral experience in related areas is valued.
Experience in the scientific coordination of international projects and consortium projects will be valued.
Experience in studies focused on precision/personalized nutrition will be valued.

Education & certifications

Degree in Food Science and Nutrition
A PhD in Food Science, Nutrition, Metabolism, or similar is essential.

The role

The Eurecat Nutrition and Health Unit offers scientific and technological services to companies in the agri-food, biotechnological, and pharmaceutical sectors, regarding aspects related to health and nutrition.

Among others, we carry out nutritional intervention studies in which our extensive experience in nutrition, metabolism, and biochemistry is integrated with the analytical capabilities of the omics sciences center.

ADVANCED RESEARCHER in CLINICAL STUDIES in the field of NUTRITION and HEALTH

What you'll do

The selected person will join a multidisciplinary team and will be responsible for the following functions:

Design, management, and execution of clinical studies in the area of nutrition.
Preparation of research proposals and participation in competitive calls.
Scientific coordination of European projects and large consortia.
Evaluation and interpretation of results, writing of scientific reports and publications.
Participation in conferences and congresses related to the field.
