About the role

You will join the Intelligent Systems Area, within the Primary Sector and Natural Resources line. From this line we work on the development and application of artificial intelligence technologies to address challenges in sectors such as agriculture, livestock, forestry, fisheries, aquaculture, marine and environmental. We take part in projects related, among other fields, to:

🎯 What we are looking for

We are looking to bring on board someone who will help consolidate and grow the line, combining technical execution and project management, support for the technology strategy and contribution to new R&D&I proposals.

  • At least 3 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence (ML/DL) and Python development. Knowledge of AI applied to imaging, computer vision or image processing is desirable.

  • Experience with GIT and code review procedures (code quality, good development practices...).

  • Fluent communication in English, writing technical documentation and collaborating on international projects.

  • Passionate about new technologies and the problems to be solved. And, of course, willing to offer new ideas.

  • Ability to work in a team.

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Marine Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or a related technical or scientific discipline.

  • It would be great if you had experience in preparing proposals for national and European calls.
