Group Manager - Residential Construction

Requirements

• Degree in Technical Architecture, Architecture, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar.
• Experience in economic management of works: cost control, certifications, and closings.
• Experience in negotiation and contracting of subcontractors and industrial suppliers.
• Leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in construction planning and control tools, construction ERP, and Office.
• Results-oriented profile, with analytical capacity and strategic vision.

From Fritz&Muller, we are collaborating with a benchmark business group in the real estate development and construction sector, which is looking to hire a Group Manager for its Alicante offices.

The selected person will take on the technical and economic coordination of several projects under construction on a simultaneous basis, leading the Site Managers assigned to each project and acting as the main point of contact with the Construction Management. This is a position with a path toward area leadership, which requires not only technical expertise but also a business vision capable of understanding each development as a business unit within the company's overall strategy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a team of Site Managers across several simultaneous developments.
• Technical, economic, and deadline monitoring of each work under their charge.
• Detection of deviations and driving corrective action plans.
• Negotiation and contracting of industrial suppliers, providers, and subcontractors.
• Coordination with Technical Office, Purchasing, Quality, and After-sales.
• Compliance with safety, health, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Preparation of monitoring reports for the Construction Management.
• Driving continuous improvement and homogenization of processes across worksites.
• Support to Site Managers in resolving technical and team incidents.
