Requirements

What we're looking for

  • +2 years of professional experience using Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques applied to image analysis.
  • +2 years of experience in Python development, especially applied to systems based on Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
  • Motivation to build quality, clean, and maintainable software, and to participate in teams and developer communities that embrace these principles.
  • Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related studies.
  • Ability to read and communicate in English, given the international nature of our projects.

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, curiosity to explore new solutions to real problems, good communication skills, and who enjoys working in collaborative and innovative environments, bringing ideas and fresh perspectives.

Nice to have

  • +2 years of hands-on experience with tools such as PyTorch, torchvision, etc.
  • Training in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Statistical Techniques, or related studies.
  • Experience in aerial image processing.
  • Experience in integrating and deploying image analysis models, especially on devices such as NVIDIA Jetson.
  • Experience with GIT, code review procedures, Jira, and agile methodologies.

The role

You will join the Intelligent Systems Area and participate in the design, development, and deployment of AI algorithms for image and video analysis applied to different scenarios, such as embedded processing of aerial imagery.

You will join a young team with over 10 years of experience in image processing and artificial intelligence, motivated to develop quality software as a team.

What you'll do

  • Research, state-of-the-art review, and development of Deep Learning-based algorithms to improve image quality in various scenarios, with the goal of enhancing performance in image and aerial processing.
  • Integration and deployment of these algorithms in different environments, including embedded environments with execution on edge devices.
  • Optimization and improvement of the developed algorithms to enable their validation and use in real-world application environments.
  • Collaboration on team developments, participating in the design and development of other AI systems for image and video analysis across multiple application domains.
