Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related studies.
  • Experience in applying Machine Learning and/or Deep Learning techniques for the development of AI systems in Python.
  • Having managed the lifecycle of an ML model up to production.
  • Participation in the deployment, management, and versioning of models.
  • Motivation to build quality, clean, and maintainable software, and to participate in teams and developer communities that embrace these principles.
  • A person passionate about new technologies, problem-solving, and research to offer new ideas.
  • We are an organization with international projects, so you need the ability to read and speak English.

You must be a communicative person, with the ability to work in diverse environments and with different teams.

Nice to have

  • Work experience with tools such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, scikit-learn, pyGAD, d3rlpy, and/or other AI libraries and frameworks.
  • Experience using some of the following technologies: MLFlow, Docker.
  • Experience with GIT and code review procedures.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in project management and writing proposals for national and/or international R&D&I calls.

The role

You will join the Intelligent Systems Area, the core of computational intelligence at Gradiant, where you will be part of a young, dynamic, and highly specialized team. From this area, we design and deploy intelligent systems based on data and artificial intelligence, covering the entire end-to-end cycle: from infrastructure and algorithms to their deployment in production.

We work with our own infrastructure and an applied approach, generating real impact in strategic sectors such as industry, biotechnology, or the primary sector, through reliable, scalable, and transferable solutions.

What you'll do

  • Research and development of algorithms based on Machine and Deep Learning to apply to various scenarios, recommendation parameter systems, time series forecasting, knowledge extraction through AI-based techniques...
  • Data screening and analysis, in order to understand and propose solutions to different problems.
  • Research, design, development, and deployment of software systems that enable managing the lifecycle of a model in production, as well as the observability of the model and its data. E.g., Mlflow, KubeFlow, Kserve...
  • Support in technology watch and monitoring the work of different developer communities, in order to promote new AI techniques and practices.

Therefore, your daily work will be based on helping your team achieve high quality standards in terms of development and deployment of AI-based solutions, and contributing to the Intelligent Systems Area.
