Project Manager - Hydrogen and Derivatives

As part of our growth and organizational strengthening, we are looking to bring a Senior Project Manager / Project Director – Hydrogen and Derivatives onto our team.

You will lead the comprehensive development of a large-scale project in LATAM within our green hydrogen and renewable ammonia portfolio. Your role will combine project management, technical coordination, and team leadership, guiding the project from early development phases through to the transition into construction.

You will be responsible for:

• Coordinating internal and external teams in engineering, permitting, HSEC, procurement, finance, legal, and commercial.

• Managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, and stakeholders.

• Overseeing the technical integration of solar PV, BESS, electrolysis, and ammonia synthesis.

• Coordinating deliverables across Concept, Pre-FEED, FEED, FID phases and handover to construction.

• Engaging with EPCs, consultants, licensors, authorities, offtakers, and financiers.

• Preparing documentation for investment and management committees.

• Driving team development and fostering a high-performance environment.

• Degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering, or similar.

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the development and/or management of large-scale industrial or energy projects (CAPEX >200 MUSD).

• At least 3-5 years in project leadership positions reporting directly to Management or an Investment Committee.

• Desirable and demonstrable experience in at least two of the following disciplines: hydrogen and/or ammonia production plants, chemical or petrochemical plants (fertilizers, refining, GTL, methanol), or large-scale hybrid solar+BESS projects.

• Knowledge of electrolysis, Haber-Bosch, utility-scale solar, BESS, and electrical systems.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, planning, and cost control.

• Native or bilingual Spanish and C1 English is essential.

• Availability for frequent travel to LATAM.

The following will be especially valued:

• Previous experience in LATAM.

• PMP certification or equivalent.

• Experience with H₂/NH₃ licensors and electrolyzer manufacturers.

• Knowledge of the energy and environmental regulatory framework.

En el marco de nuestro crecimiento y fortalecimiento organizativo, buscamos incorporar un/a Senior Project Manager / Project Director – Hidrógeno y Derivados a nuestro equipo.

Liderarás el desarrollo integral de un proyecto de gran escala en LATAM dentro de nuestro portfolio de hidrógeno verde y amoniaco renovable. Tu rol combinará gestión de proyecto, coordinación técnica y liderazgo de equipos, acompañando el proyecto desde fases tempranas de desarrollo hasta la transición a construcción.

Serás responsable de:

• Coordinar equipos internos y externos en ingeniería, permitting, HSEC, procurement, finanzas, legal y comercial.

• Gestionar alcance, cronograma, coste, calidad, riesgos y stakeholders.

• Supervisar la integración técnica de solar PV, BESS, electrólisis y síntesis de amoniaco.

• Coordinar entregables en fases Concept, Pre-FEED, FEED, FID y handover a construcción.

• Relacionarte con EPCs, consultoras, licenciantes, autoridades, offtakers y financiadores.

• Preparar documentación para comités de inversión y dirección.

• Impulsar el desarrollo del equipo y fomentar un entorno de alto rendimiento.

• Ingeniería Industrial, Química, Mecánica, Energética o similar.

• Mínimo 7-10 años de experiencia en desarrollo y/o gestión de proyectos industriales o energéticos de gran escala (CAPEX >200 MUSD).

• Al menos 3-5 años relacionadas con posiciones de liderazgo de proyecto con reporte directo a Dirección o Comité de Inversión.

• Experiencia deseable y demostrable en al menos dos de las siguientes disciplinas: plantas de producción de hidrógeno y/o amoniaco, plantas químicas o petroquímicas (fertilizantes, refino, GTL, metanol), o proyectos híbridos solar+BESS de gran escala.

• Conocimientos de electrólisis, Haber-Bosch, solar utility-scale, BESS y sistemas eléctricos.

• Manejo de metodologías y herramientas de project management, planificación y control de costes.

• Español nativo o bilingüe e inglés C1 imprescindible.

• Disponibilidad para viajar con frecuencia a LATAM.

Se valorará especialmente:

• Experiencia previa en LATAM.

• Certificación PMP o equivalente.

• Experiencia con licenciantes H₂/NH₃ y fabricantes de electrolizadores.

• Conocimiento del marco regulatorio energético y ambiental.
