The role

As part of our growth and organizational strengthening, we are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager / Project Director – Hydrogen and Derivatives to join our team.

You will lead the full development of a large-scale project within our green hydrogen and renewable ammonia portfolio. Your role will combine project management, technical coordination, and team leadership, guiding the project from early development stages through to the transition into construction.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate internal and external teams across engineering, permitting, HSEC, procurement, finance, legal, and commercial areas.

  • Prepare documentation for investment and steering committees.

  • Drive team development and foster a high-performance environment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in the development and/or management of large-scale industrial or energy projects (CAPEX >200 MUSD).

  • At least 3–5 years in project leadership roles reporting directly to management or investment committees.

  • Demonstrated experience in at least two of the following areas: hydrogen and/or ammonia production plants, chemical or petrochemical plants (fertilizers, refining, GTL, methanol), or large-scale hybrid solar+BESS projects.

  • Knowledge of electrolysis, Haber-Bosch process, utility-scale solar, BESS, and electrical systems.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, planning, and cost control tools.

  • Native or bilingual Spanish and advanced English (C1) are required.

  • Willingness to travel frequently to LATAM.

The following will be especially valued:

  • Previous experience in LATAM is required.

  • PMP certification or equivalent is required.

  • Experience with H₂/NH₃ licensors and electrolyzer manufacturers is required.
