We are seeking a profile with experience in the operational management of insurance programs, surety bonds, and claims, who can help protect our projects and assets throughout their entire lifecycle.

You will work in an international environment, collaborating with Development, Construction, Legal, Finance, and Project Finance teams, as well as with brokers, insurers, and financial institutions.

What you'll do

  • Manage the procurement, renewal, and monitoring of corporate and project insurance programs, with particular focus on the U.S. market.

  • Provide support for insurance needs during the different project phases: development, construction, financing, operation, and M&A processes.

  • Manage construction policies (CAR/EAR and Builder's Risk), property damage, general liability, D&O, marine cargo, cyber risks, auto, and specific coverages for solar projects and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

  • Review insurance and surety requirements included in EPC, O&M, financing, power purchase, and other commercial agreements.

  • Coordinate the issuance of certificates, renewals, expirations, and documentation associated with the insurance program.

  • Manage and track claims, coordinating their processing with brokers, insurers, and the various internal departments.

  • Support financing and due diligence processes, ensuring compliance with requirements established by lenders and investors.

  • Monitor premiums, budgets, and insurance capacities, contributing to the continuous improvement of the function.

What we're looking for

  • University degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Between 8 and 10 years of experience in corporate insurance, project insurance, surety bonds, or claims management.
