What we're looking for

An/a Category Manager- Communications, with at least 10 years of experience.
Availability to join our office in Rivas Vaciamadrid
Work Schedule: Complete
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related fields.
More than 10 years of experience in Defense, Security, Space, or Critical Communications.
Proven experience in product management, business development, or managing complex technology programs.
Knowledge of at least one of the following areas:
o Military communications.
o Tactical Data Links (Link 16, JREAP, or others).
o SATCOM.
o Cryptography and secure communications.
o C4ISR systems.
o Security for space programs.
International experience and the ability to develop business in foreign markets.
Solid knowledge of investment planning, business cases, and technology portfolio management.
A clearly customer-oriented profile focused on business development.
High proficiency in Spanish and English.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Highly desirable:
o Valid Personal Security Clearance.
o Previous experience with NATO, the European Commission, EDA, EDF, or equivalent organizations.
o Knowledge of the Galileo PRS ecosystem, secure government communications, or cryptographic technologies.
o Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and matrix organizations.
o Knowledge of defense procurement processes and international programs

We are looking for a Category Manager - Communications to join our office in Rivas-Vaciamadrid.

What you'll do

Lead a team of Product Managers responsible for various communications product lines.
Define the vision, strategy, and global roadmap for the category.
Manage the product portfolio, including:
o NATO Tactical Data Links.
o Satellite communications.
o Secure communications solutions.
o Cryptographic and security systems for defense and space applications.
Develop business plans, investment models, and business cases for new product developments and enhancements.
Define and oversee R&D investments (CAPEX), ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
Identify market opportunities, technological trends, and the operational needs of domestic and international customers.
Drive business development through front-office activities: customer visits, sales campaigns, demonstrations, presentations, and bid support.
Represent Grupo Oesía before the Armed Forces, government agencies, international organizations, industrial partners, and strategic clients.
Coordinate activities among Engineering, R&D, Operations, Sales, and Management to ensure the execution of the product strategy.
Participate in national and international cooperation initiatives related to Defense, Security, and Space programs.
