What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Engineering team at our Martorell plant (a logistics facility with nearly 500 employees, operating in three shifts, and serving as the main logistics provider for the Martorell automotive factory).

Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager of the industrial plant, you will be responsible for optimizing the operational logistics processes of the plant, ensuring value delivery to both internal and external clients.

What you'll do

What will your duties be?

Operational Engineering Planning

  • Participate in estimating the resources required for the industrial plant's activity, as well as in defining the different milestones to optimize processes.
  • Ensure compliance with operational processes in terms of time, quality, and optimal execution.
  • Participate in optimal communication between the client and plant operations.

Continuous Improvement and Quality

  • Implement operational improvements to maximize resource efficiency and optimize the centers' financial results.
  • Work in accordance with the VDA standard (Volkswagen Group) regarding Continuous Improvement processes.
  • Collaborate with external and internal clients in defining new processes and analyzing potential issues in the Department's quality indicators.
  • Analyze the performance and effectiveness of operational processes for new client projects, with the aim of designing improvements in their productivity, quality, efficiency, and/or performance.

Indicators and Documentation

  • Ensure strict compliance with the indicators set by the client in terms of process quality, service level, and collaboration with the client.
  • Analyze the aforementioned KPIs in order to optimize processes and resources.
  • Prepare the necessary documentation to present proposals to internal and external clients.
  • Prepare quotes for tasks not included in the specifications, calculating the cost of the required resources, at the client's request or due to internal operational needs.

What requirements must you meet?
